MAC's Open Studios Recap

ree

I was truly honored to participate in MAC's Open Studios this year as one of their first year artists. I was both nervous and excited to share my passion for sculpting with visitors to my newly opened studio, Brooklynn Ceramics. The weekend turned out to be a milestone I will never forget.

Over the course of the weekend, the studio welcomed more than 100 visitors. Each person brought their curiosity, warmth, and encouraging words. It was incredible to witness such genuine interest in the creative process and to connect with art enthusiasts from across the region.

A highlight of the weekend was unveiling my newest collection, 'In Bloom'. This series represents a celebration of growth, transformation, and the beauty of the natural world, themes that resonate deeply with my journey as a new sculptor. I am thrilled to share that this new collection was incredibly well-received, with over 50 pieces finding new homes during the weekend. Seeing others connect with and appreciate my work was both humbling and deeply rewarding.

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited, supported, and celebrated this milestone with me. Your encouragement fuels my passion for creating and sharing art. Whether you purchased a piece, inquired about my process or simply stopped by to say hello, you made this weekend truly unforgettable.

Thank you for being a part of my journey and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
